The Georgina Price College of Beauty, Galway is currently enrolling for its summer 2014 schedule of classes. The college received a 100 per cent CIDESCO success rate in the examinations held at the college last June.
This renowned centre of excellence boasts luxurious, spacious, training facilities. Prospective students work with the instantly recognisable Dermalogica and Sothys skincare brands and Artdeco make up brand, ensuring that graduates are ready to go directly into some of the leading salons and spas in Ireland and around the world.
During the year the college holds salon days which will allow the students to gain valuable work experience as part of their training.
Georgina Price College of Beauty Therapy is now enrolling for the following summer 2014 courses: beauty therapy, which will take place every Monday commencing May 26; holistic massage, which will take place every Tuesday commencing May 27; electrolysis, which will be held every Wednesday commencing June 4; and the ITEC diploma in spa treatments, which will be conducted over the dates of June 3, 4, 5, and July 28 and 29. These courses are held monthly, contact the college for next available dates. For qualified therapists, the college also offers Ireland’s most popular ITEC lecturing diploma course for those who wish to pursue a career in teaching. The next ITEC course will commence in September.
If you are a qualified beauty therapist who has not practised beauty therapy in a while, the college also holds refresher courses which are held on request throughout the year. Refresher courses are designed to give therapists the training and confidence to get back to work and confidently perform treatments.
Interviews are now being held for the full time CIDESCO course commencing September. This course is held Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4.30pm, and Friday 9am to 1pm. This course leads to qualifications with the internationally recognised examining bodies CIBTAC, ITEC, and CIDESCO, which is the world's most prestigious qualification in the field of aesthetics and beauty therapy. As this is the college’s most popular course and is often fully booked, potential students are urged to contact the college as soon as possible to set up an interview.
