The business woman of the year awards will go to individuals who, in the opinion of the judges, have contributed to their profession and who have made an outstanding contribution to business within their category.
Speaking at the launch, president of Network Galway Kerstin Harrington said that the awards are about celebrating and recognising the amazing contribution that women have made and continue to make to business life in Galway city and county.
Unlike other award ceremonies this one is “for women judged by women”, and considering the high standard of interviewees, it is promising to see that so many women are embarking in new business adventures in Galway.
