THE DEANS, the roots-rock trio, are set to release their award winning song, ‘Lonely Like Me’, as a single with a show in the Róisín Dubh.
The Athenry band won the Rock Category of the US based Unsigned Only Music Competition 2013 for ‘Lonely Like Me’. The song was chosen by a panel of judges that included Iggy Pop, Chrissie Hynde, and Cyndi Lauper.
The Deans have also made it into the semi-finals of the US based International Song Writing Competition. They are currently based in Burgundy, where they are recording new material.
The band return to Galway to play the Róisín Dubh on Saturday May 17 at 9pm. Admission is €10.
