A free seminar for first time buyers will be held in the Radisson SAS Hotel on Monday January 26 at 7pm. A host of speakers will be present to give impartial advice to first time buyers on the intricacies of buying a home, from the finance to the legal aspect.
Dep Frank Fahey will open the evening and discuss the Government initiative of the newly introduced Home Loan Scheme and answer queries on the scheme.
Maeve Carroll of Bell & Carroll solicitors will talk about the conveyance of the sale and what is involved once a buyer purchases a home up to the time the sale closes.
Deirdre Moran of Simply Mortgages will give an informative presentation of financing a home and the various options and rates available. She will also advise people on what level of finance is available in the current challenging financial times.
Michelle Burke of RE/MAX Premier Properties will discuss current house prices and trends in various parts of the city and outskirts of Galway and offer information and advice.
