A new look at the Tir na nÓg story

WILLIAM HENRY is best known for his highly praised books on Eamonn Ceannt and Galwegians who fought in World War I, but his latest book is one for the children to enjoy.

Tir na nÓg; A New Adventure by William Henry, centres around three children from the Aran Islands who visit Tir na nÓg under the care of Princess Naimh. While in Tir na nÓg the children become prisoners of time and must enlist the help of characters from Irish folklore to help them escape and return home.

The book will by officially launched by James Harrold, Galway city arts officer, in the Galway City Museum, this Saturday at 2.30pm. King Aengus and Queen Edain of Tir na nÓg will also be there and there will also be music.
