Kinvara software company aims to help business battle the downturn

Galway-based software development company Minton Management Solutions has just released a new suite of products directly aimed at helping small or medium sized service companies offset the impact of the recession to their business over the next 12 months.

The company, based in Kinvara, has developed very easy to use, low priced software that allow service providers send SMS texts directly to their customers/ clients, which will help to reduce lost revenue and increase repeat business.

“With the recession beginning to bite, businesses are looking anxiously to 2009. None more so than small- and medium-sized businesses in Ireland’s service sector. If you own or operate a service business that has daily interaction with customers/ clients, whether it is a car service, a hair cut, a check up or even a window clean, in order to survive and grow in the current economic environment, businesses need to reduce lost revenue, generate repeat business and optimize profitability.

According to Tom Hayes, MD for Minton Management Solutions, the software is totally geared towards introducing practical measures which will help offset the impact of the recession.

“We have developed a very user friendly product that will work on our customers existing computers.

“The software interacts with their customers/ clients using SMS texting, allowing them to send daily reminders and/or producing highly targeted SMS promotions.

“In addition to the SMS functionality the suite of products includes detailed reports that allow businesses ‘drill down’ into productivity and profitability information,” he said.
