Established in Asturias, northern Spain in 2001, GoEuroLanguage offers Spanish language programmes to local Galway students.
One of the co- founders is a native of Galway, where the organisation runs its English courses for Spanish students, and the other co- founder is from Avilés where it runs its summer course for Irish students. This partnership and affinity with both places helps in ensuring the success of its courses as, more often than not, organisers personally know the families they deal with.
This year GoEuroLanguage offers Galway secondary students an exchange programme. The students are grouped by level, with a special group for those sitting the Leaving Certificate. The organisation endeavours to make the best choice when selecting the families who have children the same age and gender. In these exchange programmes, families will host a Spanish student for three weeks (July 8 to July 29 ) in Galway prior to departure to Spain. There are seven placements left for girls aged 14 to 17 years. For more information or to make a booking visit www.goeurolanguage.com before April 30.
