KARL SPAIN will headline a night of leading and emerging Irish comedians at the Róisín Dubh next Wednesday at 8.30pm.
Karl Spain began his onstage life as part of a break dance roller skate troupe and then followed the natural progression to stand-up. On account of his rather feminine legs, he was a model for Pretty Polly. He spends all the money he makes on Subutteo and comics and will be delighted to see you in the audience.
Support is from Fred Cooke (“I love Fred, I think he has the real spirit of the clown in him”, Tommy Tiernan ); Eleanor Tiernan (“The fastest-rising comedy talent in the country” The Irish Times ); Colm O’Regan (The Book of Irish Mammies ); and Christiane O’Mahony (Show Me The Funny and quarter finalist at the UK Musical Comedy Awards ).
Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, from the Ticket Desk at OMG, Shop Street (formerly Zhivago ), and The Róisín Dubh.
