A round of golf with Christy O’Connor jr will be the top prize at a fundraising draw being held in Oranmore tomorrow (Friday ) in aid of the Lucky 60 Foundation for Console.
The international golf champion was approached last year by Declan McEntee, founder of The Lucky 60 Foundation for Console, and asked to help raise funds for the charity. He immediately offered any assistance that he could give.
A draw was organised with the prize being an opportunity to share a game of golf with the man himself. The draw will take place tomorrow, Friday April 11, at 2pm, in the Galway Bay Golf and Country Club in Renville, Oranmore, which was also designed by Christy O’Connor jr. Declan McEntee would like to thank Mr O’Connor for giving up his time amid a busy schedule to help the Lucky 60 Foundation for Console.
