Galway Kettlebell Club members won six medals at the club’s second Kettlebell competition which attracted more than 100 athletes on Saturday.
Steve Kileen, gold medal in Long Cycle discipline 12kgs, Sarah Smith, silver medal in long cycle discipline 24kgs and silver in jerk discipline 24kgs, Didier Bouic, silver medal for jerk 12kgs, Maria Dillon, silver medal in jerk 20kgs, and Suzi Doherty, bronze medal in long cycle 12kgs, were the local medal winners
Coach Sarah Smith recently qualified for a place on the first Irish Female Long Cycle Team to compete at the White Knights of Saint Petersburg, Grand Prix Festival in Russia.
