STONES IN His Pockets, the theatre phenomenon, returns for another naitonwide run, which includes the Town Hall Theatre from Monday April 7 to Saturday 12 at 8pm.
Written by Belfast’s Marie Jones (dubbed “the people’s playwright” by The Irish Times ), Stones In His Pockets has won the Best New Comedy from the Olivier Awards, Best Play at The Irish Times Theatre Awards, and the Best Comedy award from the Evening Standard. It has also enjoyed rave reviews whenever it has been staged.
Starring Damian Kearney (Love/Hate, The Tudors ) and Stephen Jones (Love/Hate, Ripper Street ), and directed by Ian McElhinney, Stones... is the hilarious and moving tale of a quiet Irish community turned upside down by the arrival of a Hollywood movie shoot.
