Natural medicine event at Evergreen

Natural medicine is becoming more and more popular as people seek to have greater control of their health. It is a patient- centred model of care whichpromotesself responsibility when it comes to our wellbeing. The public have become increasingly aware of the connection between wellness and nutrition and increasingly opt for a drug free approach or an integrative approach to prevent, stabilise, and reverse disease processes.

Natural medicine is effective in treating many common conditions such as anxiety, asthma, eczema, chronic fatigue, insomnia, and lowered mood. The naturopathic approach to health also acts to prevent common lifestyle diseases such as hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes. There is a need for well trained practitioners representing best international practice.

The College of Naturopathic Medicine will have a stand at the upcoming Evergreen Natural Health Show at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Galway next Sunday, April 6. If you have ever considered studying for a career in natural medicine

(nutritional therapy, herbal medicine, or acupuncture ), Lara Monaghan MSc Dip NT will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about training with CNM.

All of the diplomas offered by CNM give graduates the knowledge, skills, and competence to be highly effective practitioners.

CNM will also hold an open evening on April 10 in the Galway Business School, Salthill. To book contact Nita on (01 ) 2353094. For more informationsee www.naturopathy.ie
