Líadan to play Claregalway

TRAD/FOLK band Líadan celebrate their 10th anniversary this year with a nationwide tour which begins with a gig in County Galway next month.

The venue for the gig is unusual in that it will take place in the newly constructed school hall of Cregmore National School, Claregalway, on Friday April 4 at 8.30pm.

Líadan - Síle Denvir (harp ), Deirdre Chawke (piano accordion ), Elaine Cormican (whistles ), Valerie Casey and Claire Dolan (fiddles ), and Catherine Clohessy (flute ) - have been described as “wildly talented” by Hotpress.
