Opel offers new cars for three day tests

We all agree that to really experience a new car you need time behind the wheel - time to see how the car feels to drive, how it looks, if it is suited to your lifestyle, and time to make sure you have made the right decision.

Now one carmaker is acting on this and it is introducing 'Experience Opel', a three-day test drive programme designed for those who would like to get to know what Opel has to offer.

Opel believes that because it is only when you see the Opel’s sculptured design for yourself, cocoon yourself inside the cockpit, turn the ignition and take to the road, that you can truly experience the outstanding sensation of what it feels like to own an Opel.

Dave Sheeran, managing director at Opel Ireland, says: “In today’s cluttered market, there are so many cars to choose from. We want to empower customers to truly experience the stunning design, German engineering, and the overall value Opel cars offer.”

The programme is available at participating Opel dealerships nationwide and registration is done through Opel.ie or each dealer’s website. Dates and times of the three-day test drive are flexible, but are dependent on availability. Once registration is completed online, a representative from the dealership will get in contact and book in the test drive.

Customers who successfully complete their test drive are further enticed with an offer of free road tax for one year and a five-year warranty with a new car purchase. And Opel Ireland says: "This of course is in addition to Opel’s flexible finance packages called Opel Choices Finance.”

Under this financial agreement, customers can choose their Opel, make a deposit from as little as seven per cent of the retail price and Opel will provide a ‘Guaranteed Minimum Future Value’ at the end of the term, leaving customers with three options: Take it’ and pay the balance; Leave it and hand the Opel back with no penalties; Or change it for a new Opel.

As you would expect, terms and conditions do apply.
