Two basketball titles for Galway

St Enda’s of Salthill took the silverware in basketball’s All Ireland Schools League U19 C Girls final when they saw off local rivals Glenamaddy CS. In what began as a tightly fought contest, the guard play of sisters Ailbhe and Megan Davoren proved vital for the city side as they ran out winners by 43-23.
