Garda appeal after ‘dangerous’ veterinary products taken

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after veterinary drugs and products, considered “extremely dangerous” were taken in a burglary and the unauthorised taking of a vehicle in Loughrea at the weekend.

An investigation has been launched following the burglary and unauthorised taking of a black coloured Toyota Landcruiser, partial registration 131 CE, which occurred at Dublin Road, Loughrea, County Galway, on March 16 2014, between 1pm and 11pm.

The vehicle contained veterinary drugs/products including Kettamine, Xylazine, and Butorphanol which are considered extremely dangerous and not fit for human consumption. The vehicle has not been located to date.
