RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta would like to invite the public to join it for a celebratory St Patrick’s Day concert which will take place on March 8 in The Forge, Moycullen, for broadcast on St Patrick’s Day, hosted by Seán Bán Breathnach.
The concert will feature a host of great musicians from the west of Ireland performing a mix of trad, folk, country, song and dance.
Musicians confirmed for the night to date include: Patrick Connolly, dancer Gearóid Ó Dubháin, sean-nós singers Nan Tom Teaimín de Búrca TG4 Singer of the Year 2014, Briocán Bairéad, Bríd Ní Mhaoilchiaráin, Cór Chois Fharraige choir, Maidhc Ó hÉanaigh, Dáire Bracken, Avril Rushe, Piaras Ó Cuív, and the Moycullen branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann. Seán Bán Breathnach will bring his own inimitable style to the show as presenter.
The gig takes place in The Forge, Moycullen, on Saturday March 8 with doors opening at 7.45pm, and the concert will start at 8pm. There is no admission charge.
