City to hold first Polish Business Expo this Sunday

The first Polish Business Expo to take place in Galway will be held in Kelly’s Bar, Bridge Street this Sunday from 12 noon to 5pm.

The Polish Business Expo will feature a wide range of expositors representing their businesses, and include auto mechanics, photographers, mother and baby products retailers, bookkeepers and accountants, logistics courier services, cake and sweet makers, beauticians, beeswax candle makers, IT specialists, and others.

The event will also feature an arts and crafts section with displays from jewellery makers, decoupage mosaics artists, and scrapbook handmade cards. There will also be a stand for the Polish School in Galway, one of the biggest Polish ethnic schools in Ireland.

The event is organised by four final year students of event management and PR at the GMIT - Justyna Pietrzykowska, Patrycja Piatek, Jolanta Struska, and Megan Walsh. The group say the event will be “a great opportunity to see what Polish businesses in Galway have to offer”.

There will also be a raffle with prizes, including meal vouchers to local restaurants, books, and sweets.

Admission is free and all are welcome. For more information call 085 - 2023456 or see www.facebook.com/Polishbusinessexpogalway
