Galway head with confidence to Clare for their fourth Tesco Home Grown NFL fixture on Sunday (2pm ).
The Galway Ladies enjoy a 100 per cent record and will be looking to make it four wins on the trot when they face their neighbours at the weekend.
Currently sharing top spot with Westmeath, Galway easily accounted for Kildare by 2-15 to 0-5 in Hawkfield last Sunday Although there was little between both teams last year, it was a different story this time when Galway raced into a four-point lead through Lorna Joyce, Annette Clarke, Aoibheann Daly and Roisin Leonard before Kildare got their first point by Grace Clifford.
Leonard and Elaine Dillion exchanged points, but Galway increased the pressure with two Clarke points and a Barbara Hannon goal.
Although Clifford added a second point for Kildare, Roisin Leonard ensured Galway took a 1-08 to 0-03 lead with a free before the break before firing over another two after the restart.
A brillant run by Maria Moolick ended in a great save by Galway goalkeeper Johanna Connolly and it was the 15th minute before the white flag was raised again when Lorna Joyce fired over.
After a Kildare free Galway grabbed their second goal when Aoibheann Daly intercepted, found Roisin Leonard, who crossed to Una Carroll and she found the back of the net. Carroll, Clarke (2 ) and Daly completed the scoring for the winners.
