Medtronic followed up their county success with an impressive 1-18 to 1-05 victory over Corrib Natural Gas to claim this year’s Connacht Interfirms Football title.
Medtronic now advance to the All Ireland semi-final where they will meet the winners of the Leinster decider.
Played at the Connacht Centre of Excellence, Medtronic produced a determined start which laid the foundations for this victory over Corrib NS.
Seven points from Colm O’Donavan set Medtronic up with a nine-point advantage at the break and any hope of a fightback from Corrib was dashed immediate after the restart when Cian Mimnagh goaled and added another point.
