Many engaged couples visited the Clayton Hotel last Sunday for their tremendously successful Mr and Mrs Wedding Showcase. They arrived with the aim of booking their dream venue, securing their perfect suppliers and getting tips and advice from the glamorous Vogue McFadden - they were not disappointed!
Guests were greeted with a mouth-watering Mr and Mrs cocktail, they were then treated to delicious gourmet delights from the Clayton’s exclusive wedding menu and wine connoisseur Martin Fagan from Classic Drinks provided fine wines to compliment the food. Models from Catwalk Modelling Agency put on a fabulous fashion show with the best in bridal couture and there were a range of up to thirty expert wedding suppliers on hand offering their services for every couples dream day.
The Clayton Hotel’s Mr and Mrs Wedding Quiz also hosted by Vogue McFadden, formed an integral part of the day. The winning couple Mary Lydon and Christopher Flaherty from Carraroe walked away with an amazing €1,000 cash prize from wedding loan specialists St.Columba’s Credit Union.
Runners up Michelle Coffey and Damien Blade from Annaghdown received an €800 voucher towards their wedding rings from ‘Center Jewellers‘, and Martha Mannion and Stephen Harte from Tuam won a delicious wedding cake to the value of €400 courtesy of home based bakery ‘Simply Divine Cakes’.
