The New Quay walking group will hold its seventh annual sponsored 10k walk on New Year’s Day.
Registration for the event, which is in aid of the Irish Cancer Society, will take place at noon. The walk will begin from New Quay Church at 12.30pm and will take in the scenic area of Flaggy Shore.
People are asked to give generously to the organisation’s bucket collection.
