The Connacht Property Auction – now taking entries for March auction

The Connacht Property Auction is now taking entries for its next public auction which will be held on March 26 in the Clayton Hotel, Galway. After a hugely successful November auction where 22 of the 27 properties were sold, the auction team have experienced a surge of interest from both property owners and buyers. The company is the only auction provider in Ireland which does not charge admission or marketing fees to enter the auction, making it very appealing to property owners. The company also offers an online auction system where all bids are made visible on its website www.connachtpropertyauction.ie

“One of the key elements to the success of The Connacht Property Auction is the partnership of estate agents who work together to ensure maximum interest in the properties,” said Patrick Folan from The Connacht Property Auction. “Working in close partnership with over 30 established auctioneers, we ensure the property is advertised and promoted in all the right papers, websites, and property portals.” The company is currently working with a host of auctioneers including Paddy Keane (Ballinasloe ), Matt O’Sullivan (Clifden ), Michael Cunningham auctioneers (Gort ), Spencer auctioneers (Oughterard ), Michael Ryder (Tuam ), Lyons Bracken (Athenry ), Keary Auctioneers (Loughrea ), Arthur & Lees (Ennis ), and Considines (Kilrush ) among others.

The Connacht Property Auction is inviting property owners who are looking to sell properties without any upfront costs to contact the auction team. Before any property comes to the market, the auction team will agree a minimum reserve figure, giving the property owner total control over the minimum walkaway figure. Bidding can continue past the reserve price until the highest bidder has secured the property. Mr Folan said: “Since the turn of the year, the auction team have sold several properties through our online auction system with in excess of 20 bids received. This shows confidence is coming back into the market and buyers are willing to put their best foot forward.”

The next public auction will take place on March 26 at the Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit, Galway at 7pm. Registration starts at 6.30pm.
