A BADLY behaved cat and a young pirate girl are the main characters in two new books for children from County Galway based publishers Futa Fata.
Trixie agus Tony – Sin cat dána by Patricia MacEoin and Lísín – Ní Banphrionsa mé! by Patricia Forde, will be launched in Seanscoil Sailearna, Indreabhán, this Sunday at 4pm.
Trixie agus Tony is a new series about a cat who thinks of herself as master of a veterinary practice, much to the annoyance of Tony the vet. Ní Banphrionsa mé! is the second book of the Lísín series as the pirate girl is forced to wear a pink dress and partake in the school play.
The launch will also see Futa Fata director Tadhg Mac Dhonnagáin perform favourites from Gugalaí Gug. Admission is free and all are welcome.
