Irish Pictorial Weekly @ the Róisín Dubh

THE STARS of RTÉ’s satirical sketch show, Irish Pictorial Weekly - Barry Murphy; John Colleary; Colum McDonnell, and Gary Cooke - are coming to Galway.

The quartet will be casting a wry eye over the country’s political and media culture in the Róisín Dubh on Saturday February 15 at 8.30pm, and the show will include characters featured in the series, sketches, and stand up.

Barry Murphy has been described by Hot Press as “one of the high kings of Irish comedy”. As well as being one third of Après Match, he was a co-founder of the International Comedy Club.

Gary Cooke is best known for his work with Après Match and his portrayal of Eamon Dunphy. John Colleary is the co-writer of three times IFTA nominated The Savage Eye. Colum McDonnell has appeared on The Republic of Telly, The Savage Eye, and The Podge and Rodge Show.
