LEADING CANADIAN DJ Tiga, one of the biggest names in electronic dance music, plays the Electric Garden and Theatre tonight from 11pm.
The Montreal born musician, producer, and winner of the 2007 Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year, Tiga has released two albums, Sexor and Ciao! and remixed for The xx, LCD Soundsystem, The Kills, Cabaret Voltaire, Scissor Sisters, Peaches, Moby, Depeche Mode, and Friendly Fires.
Tiga has also co-produced with Soulwax, James Murphy, Chilly Gonzales, Jesper Dahlbäck, and most recently Matthew Dear, with whhom he worked on ‘Plush’. Solo, Tiga released ‘Sunglasses at Night’ with Finnish producer Jori Hulkkonen, which went Top 30 on the British Dance Chart.
