Sirkus Sirkuz @ Electric

“SIRKUS SIRKUZ specialises in beats aimed straight at the dancefloor.” So said Mixmag about the Derry born DJ who plays Galway this weekend.

Sirkus Sirkuz - AKA Declan McLaughlin, formerly of The Japanese Popstars - play The Electric Garden this Saturday at 11pm.

After spending the last 14 years touring the world and playing major clubs and festivals as part of The Japanese Popstars and Hedrock Valley Beats, McLaughlin has created this new musical venture which has already been receiving great praise. DMC World Magazine called him “one of the UK's most exciting new producers” while DJ Mag says he is “delicately devastating”.

Sirkus Sirkuz has remixed for Beyoncé, Depeche Mode, Ash, and Gorillaz and he has received support from such DJs as Fake Blood, Benny Benassi, Dr Lektroluv, Leftfield, and Zombie Nation.

Collaborations with fellow artists such as March Against, Shadow Dancer, and Peter Silbermann have resulted in a series of Versus EPs.
