AFTER SPENDING a year in China, Des Bishop is coming back to Ireland armed with stories to tell about his time in the world’s emerging superpower.
Des Bishop is bringing his new show Coming Home to the Róisín Dubh. The Sunday March 9 show is sold out, so Des has added a second date, Monday March 10 at 8pm and tickets are on sale.
During the show, Des will talk about working in a restaurant; trying to find a wife in a ‘marriage park’; and journeys with Leo, his co-worker from his Abrakebabra days. He will also talk about what he missed in Ireland - democracy, milk, and sarcasm.
Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, from the Ticket Desk at OMG, Shop Street (formerly Zhivago ), and The Róisín Dubh.
