MAGICAL MOZART by Candlelight, a sumptuous, fully costumed show, will immerse audiences in the classical Baroque world of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The show is in the Town Hall Theatre on Monday February 10 at 8pm with the European Baroque Ensemble and Singers performing excerpts from Mozart’s The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro, Cosi Fan Tutte, and Don Giovanni.
The singers will be Chinese-born soprano LiLi, who has been awarded the Mario Lanza Opera Prize and the Ashleyan Opera Prize.
Soprano Vasileva Diana Evgenieva has twice been a guest in the Mozart Festival in Pravetz, Bulgaria. She has sung in the Sofia National Opera and Ballet, Bulgaria and the Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
South African baritone Denver Martin Smith has performed in productions of The Three Penny Opera, Rigoletto, La Bohème, and The Pearl Fishers.
