In advance of the 2014 Galway Food Festival, an information meeting to plan and prepare for the event, takes place in the Galway City Museum this Tuesday at 6pm.
All interested restaurants, food outlets, food producers and trade suppliers are invited to an information meeting to hear plans, share views, and build on the success of the past two years. The meeting should last no more than an hour.
The food festival takes place over the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend from Thursday April 17 to Monday 21. It seeks to celebrate Galway as a good food destination, and showcase local and artisan food produce, food producers and food outlets. It will also promote healthy eating for all ages throughout its extensive programme of family-friendly events.
