Heavy rock heaven at Monroe’s Live

THERE WAS a time in rock music when the riffs were big and the hair was bigger - it was the era ruled by Guns ‘n’ Roses, Whitesnake, and Mötley Crüe.

A mutual love of 1980s hard rock and metal brought Limerick quintet Dirty Diamonds together with a mission to bring heavy rock back to the masses. The band are currently working on their debut album Let’s Get Loud!

Dirty Diamonds play Monroe’s Live tomorrow at 10pm and will be followed by Galway based Led Zeppelin tribute band No Stairway.

Tickets are €10 and available on the door or through www.monroes.ie and 091 - 583397.
