Wordhaus - words, writing, digital, and ideas

PETER GRIFFIN likes to say “Roadhouse” at random moments, but in the Bierhaus on Henry Street, on Wednesday January 15, the key word will be ‘Wordhaus’.

Wordhaus, or to give it its full title - Wordhaus #1: Fiction, Craft Irish Ale & Digital Delights @ Bierhaus Galway - is a showcase pioneering craft, ideas, and venture, bringing together a love for language, chat, imagination, and pioneering craft.

For the inaugural night, award-winning author Mike McCormack will read from and chat about the process and practice of writing fiction; the Galway Hooker Irish Ale creators, Aidan Murphy and Ronan Brennan, will be in conversation with Jack Considine of the Bierhaus; and there will be an interactive digital poetry piece from Atlanta, Georgia poet, Mark Noonan.

The event runs from 7pm to 8pm. Admission is free and all are welcome.
