TWO DIFFERENT eight week art classes for children, run by professional artist Vicky Smith, will be held in the Knocknacarra Community Centre.
Classes for those aged from five to seven, run by professional artist Vicky Smith, are entitled Paint your own Vincent Van Gogh Sunflowers and runs from Sunday January 19 to Sunday March 9.
Children will learn methods used by Van Gogh, and experiment with acrylic paint, watercolours, charcoal, ink, colouring pencils, and pastels. There are 10 places in the class. The cost is €100. All materials are included
The Make your own Space Puppet classes are for those aged from eight and 12 and run from Saturday January 18 to Saturday March 8. Participants will learn about glove, rod, and foam puppets, and create a storyboard for their character.
