The very best in soul, r’n’b, Jamaican ska, funk, 60s R&B, Latin boogaloo, Northern Soul and anything else that would make you want to cut some rug - will be spun at Shuffle’s New Year Shindig! in The Cellar Bar, Eglinton Street, on Tuesday December 31 from 9pm.
Spinning the decks will be leading Galway soul DJsDave Barry (Sunday Service at Massimo and Shuffle! at the Róisín Dubh ) and sharp dressed mod and no mean DJ /himself, Keith McCafferty, along with some special guests.
Keith will be well known around Galway as a musician (Disconnect 4 ) and DJ (Bar - 8 ) and has ammassed quite an enviable soul and R&B 45 collection since leaving these shores for Canada.
Dave has a history with New Years gigs at the Cellar with another successful Galway clubnight called The Nitty Gritty, created with his now wife Kit Kola, having two fantastic end of year gigs there.
The night will be powered by a funktion 1 sound system.
