THE GALWAY Gospel Choir will perform two charity concerts in the city, one tomorrow for MADRA, the other on Sunday for COPE.
St Patrick’s Brass Band and the Galway Gospel Choir will both perform in the St Patrick’s bandroom, beside Ceannt Station, tomorrow at 8pm.
Admission is free but donations will be accepted at the door for MADRA, the volunteer run Connemara based organisation which cares for dogs. It also runs a charity shop in Moycullen.
On Sunday at 7pm, the Galway Gospel Choir and jazz singing group Tin Pan Alley will sing in St Brigid’s Parish Church, Ballybane. Expect to hear everything from Gershwin to The Beatles. The suggested donation is €5 and proceeds go to Cope Galway Fairgreen Hostel and Ugandan Parish.
