THE STUDENTS of Corrib Dance Academy will present their show, The Children of Lir and Movie Magic, at the Town Hall Theatre, this December.
The show begins with the Irish legend The Children of Lir, told through classical ballet and performed to a combination of orchestrated Irish and classical music. There will be an excerpt from Act II of Swan Lake; while music from the movies will allow students to display modern, tap, and jazz dance styles.
The show runs from Thursday December 12 to Sunday 15 at 7.30pm with matinees on the Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm. Tickets are available from the Town Hall on 091 - 569777 or www.tht.ie
