A number of Moycullen businesses have come together to offer one lucky winner a chance to win a prize package worth more than €2,000 in the Moycullen Festive Golden Ticket draw.
Spearheaded by Mná Moycullen, the women’s business networking organisation founded earlier this year, the month-long initiative aims to encourage people to go to Moycullen and visit its wide range of business offerings in the run up to the festive season.
Running from Friday November 22 to Monday December 23, customers who spend more than €20 in the businesses involved in the Moycullen Festive Golden Ticket initiative will receive a free entry ticket in to the main draw. Some 40 finalists will be drawn on Christmas Eve, one from each retailer, and will go forward to represent each participating business in the main draw which will take place in The Forge Bar on Sunday December 29. It promises to be a great night full of music and festive fun with Moycullen native and TG4 presenter, Loretta Ní Ghabhain as MC on the night.
The prize package will be made up of substantial vouchers to be redeemed in a number of Moycullen businesses. Businesses involved include; supermarkets, restaurants, florists, furniture stores, gift shops, hair dressers, boutiques, pharmacies, bars, cafes, petrol stations, a day spa, physiotherapist, vet, bookstore, launderette, hardware store, garden centre, art gallery as well as the traders from the ever popular Friday market. Look out for the posters to indicate participating businesses.
“We offer such a wide range of fantastic services in Moycullen village from quirky gift stores, fashion outlets, furniture shops, florists, bookshops, restaurants, hairdressers, beauty spas, and lots more,” says Ann Dunne of Mná Moycullen. “Moycullen village is a short 10 minute drive from Galway city and with ample free parking is the perfect shopping destination for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for their Christmas shopping.
