On Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8 the Connect Intercultural Community Group and the Ard Family Resource Centre in Doughiska will hold a Christmas craft fair.
This two day event will showcase the talent of the local community groups, individual craft workers, and artists. There will be a fine selection of original goods and many potential presents for under the Christmas tree on sale.
The organisers hope that people will go along and enjoy the festive spirit and support local productivity and the local economy. Face painters and other entertainers will also be present during the weekend to entertain the children. The Christmas craft fair kicks off each day at 12 noon and will run until 6pm. A small number of stalls are still available for anyone who wishes to participate.
