FOUR NEW bands will go head-to-head at Monroe’s Live tonight in the second heat of the iRocks competition, in association with iRadio.
Each Thursday for four weeks, four finalists will battle it out for a place in the grand finale at Monroe’s Live, on Thursday December 12. The show will be streamed live on iRadio.ie and see the winner scoop a prize package worth €10,000, including recording time, equipment and promotion.
The finalists are Blu Loves Milo, Almost Instant, Rofi James, Prominence Live, Podracer, Gigabyte, TV After Midnight, Reckless Youth, Bríd Welby, Flat Out, Transit Getaway, Bite the Killer Cat, The Vintage Infants, Penny Wentworth and Fallings. The wildcard entry is Galway alt-rock foursome Take the Stand.
