ROS NA Rún cast members and singer-songwriter Brian Kennedy will join forces for a special charity concert for Pieta House.
The concert, in association with Raidió na Gaeltachta, in aid of Pieta House West, takes place in St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church, on Thursday November 28 at 8pm, and features traditional Christmas music.
“We are always grateful to communities and organisations that give up their valuable time to raise essential funds for Pieta House,” says Joan Freeman, CEO of Pieta House. “The Pieta House West centre of excellence is currently under construction and funds raised from this concert will help significantly.”
Tickets are available from Hanley’s Mensware, Shop Street; Garavan’s Pub, Shop Street; Claddagh Jewellery, Quay Street; Blake’s Corner, Eglinton Street; Michael Ryder, High Street, Tuam; Tigh Durkin, Baile na hAbhann; Siopa an Phobail, Indreabhán; and Texaco, An Spidéal.
Tickets are €20 with all money going to Pieta House West’s fundraising initiatives. Pieta House, centre for the prevention of self-harm or suicide was founded in 2006 and has since opened a number of centres of excellence around the country, the latest of which is in Tuam.
