Galway showjumper Sven Hadley clocked up a series of wins in Hands Equestrian in the UK.
The Craughwell native took the honours in the hard-fought Grand Prix. Riding the Irish-bred Realt Na Carraig, Hadley was best of 40 riders and took home the lion’s share of £3500 for his efforts.
Realt Na Carraig is a nine-year-old gelding by Lux z and since the two joined forces in April, they have clocked up a series of impressive results, which included the Young Rider Championship at the RDS. Since moving up to Grand Prix level the gelding has featured in the line-ups, but this was his first win at the higher level.
