Adrian Crowley plays Róisín Dubh

BORN IN Malta, raised in Galway, based in Dublin, and winner of the Choice Music Prize, singer-songwriter Adrian Crowley plays the Róisín Dubh tomorrow.

Adrian’s poetic flair and ability to set his lyrics against an irresistibly affecting musical backdrop saw his 2009 album Season of the Sparks win the Choice Music Prize. His sixth album, I See Three Birds Flying, was released by the prestigious Scottish indie-label Chemikal Underground in 2012.

He is currently working on a new full length album, but in the meantime there will be a collaborative album My Yoke is Heavy with James Yorkston. It will feature the duo’s covers of Daniel Johnston songs and be released later this month.

Doors are at 9pm. Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
