A sultry jazz night with Jaime Nanci

JAIME NANCI & The Blue Boys will bring their cool, smooth, jazz vibe to the Róisín Dubh, for a seated show, on Friday November 22 at 8pm.

Jaime is well known to Galway audiences for his years as front-man of the brilliant jazz, pop, rock, cabaret band Cuckoo Savante. Since forming The Blue Boys with Pawel Grudzien (piano ), Dave Redmond (bass ), Kevin Brady (drums ), and Ciaran Wilde (saxophone/clarinet ), they have played in New York and across Ireland, including a recent a sell-out show at the Cork Jazz Festival.

The band will play original material, songs by Nina Simone, as well as contemporary classics by artists like The Cure, The Smiths and Depeche Mode, twisting them into sultry swing tunes, bluesy ballads, and even ragtime Charleston.
