Connacht Rugby has teamed up with orthotic suppliers Athleet to provide assessments to all rugby players in the province.
Founded by Roscommon brothers Dermot and Benny Rock, Athleet provides gait analysis and biomechanical assessment for sportsmen and women and has been working with GAA clubs for the past number of years.
Athleet will hold consultation clinics in the Sportsground each month, starting on Saturday November 16. These clinics are open to all rugby players in the province, as well as members of the general public.
Speaking about the new partnership, Athleet co-founder Dermot Rock says: "We are delighted to partner with Connacht Rugby. As a sport rugby has grown considerably over recent years and nowhere more so than in Connacht. The facilities at the Sportsground are first class and we are looking forward to meeting with rugby players and Connacht fans at the clinics."
