NUI Galway’s Literary & Debating Society will discuss self publishing and digital distribution as part of its Literary Convention event.
The event, in conjunction with Writers Soc and The Irish Writers Centre, takes place this evening from 7pm in the Kirwan Lecture Theatre on the main Arts Concourse of NUIG. A number of Irish writers will be speaking at the event.
The topics for discussion are the effect of translation on literature, constructed languages; the trend of making film versions of novels soon after publishing; and self publishing and digital distribution .
Following the talks there will be an opportunity for the up-and-coming writers in NUIG to showcase their own work. The public as well as students are welcome to attend the event.
