SLAP AND tickle, spanking, and all manner of kinky canoodling will take place in the Town Hall Theatre next week with 51 Shades Of Maggie.
51 Shades Of Maggie, Belfast writer Leesa Harker’s comic send-up of 50 Shades of Grey, will be staged on Monday November 11 and Tuesday 12 at 8pm. The show follows sell out performances in Dublin, Glasgow, and Perth, and tours of England and Scotland.
Maggie Muff is looking for love and thinks she knows what she wants in a man. However she is unfulfilled after a number of failed relationships, until she meets Mr Big in his Private Room Of Pain. Is he really the man of her dreams though? Will the pain be worth it? Will he whisk her off to a fairy tale ending? Or will it end in tears?
The work originally began as a Facebook page, but the stage version re-imagines Maggie as a northside Dubliner. Emma Barry, who will play Maggie, was trained at the University of Hertfordshire, London where she received her BA honours degree in Theatre with Performing Arts.
Due to the strong language and adult themes the show is unsuitable for those under 16.
Tickets are available from the Town Hall on 091 - 569777 or www.tht.ie
