DAVID TENANT, who has played the role of Dr Who and impressed in Broadchurch and United, will further display his talents in Shakespeare’s Richard II.
The Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Richard II will be screened live via satellite from Stratford-upon-Avon on Wednesday November 13 at 7pm in the Eye Cinema, Wellpark.
Richard is King of England, but he is also a man of very human weakness. A man whose vanity threatens to divide the great houses of the kingdom and drag his people into a dynastic civil war.
David Tennant will play Richard. The cast also features Oliver Ford Davies (Duke of York ), Michael Pennington (John of Gaunt ), and Nigel Lindsay (Bolingbroke ). The director is Gregory Doran.
