THE INTERSTELLAR electro-indie of Le Galaxie, the techo/house meets trad meets post rock of Daithí, and the propulsive indie rock of Funeral Suits make up the 2013 FMC Tour.
The FMC Tour comes to the Róisín Dubh on Thursday November 7 at 8pm, with support from a Galway band, yet to be announced.
Le Galaxie are well known to Galway audiences for their high energy shows, featuring epic disco/indie/electro influenced sets where surrender to the dance impulse is impossible to resist.
Galway based, Clare born, musician Daithí is a multitalented young composer, producer, and performer. His imaginative combination of Irish trad fiddle, avant garde, pure pop, electro, dance, and post-rock has been winning many admirers over the last 18 months.
Funeral Suits are a four-piece from Ireland consisting of Brian James, Mik McKeogh, Greg McCarthy, and Dar Grant. The music they make is expansive without being overblown, heavy without being menacing, and all the more thrilling for its restraint.
