TARA SPELMAN, the 16-year-old Galway singer-songwriter, will release her debut album I Like It Like This, next month.
Tara, from Knocknacarra and a pupil of Coláiste na Coirbe, will hold an official launch gig for the album in Monroe’s Backstage Bar on Saturday November 30.
I Like It Like This contains eight songs, three of which are originals written by Tara and one co-written with James Colohan. James also features on the album as does The Stunning drummer Cormac Dunne.
Tara competed in the X Factor in Manchester and has performed in London’s West End. She is currently rehearsing with the Renmore Panto and with the Nine Arch Musical Society for its production of Annie.
I Like It Like This costs €10 and all proceeds will go towards Croí - The West Of Ireland Cardiology Charity. The album will be on sale in Monroe’s on the night of the show and is also available from Croí Building, Newcastle.
