SEAN LOCK will be among the comedians joining Whose Line Is It Anyway? at the Róisín Dubh during its Galway Comedy Festival run.
Whose Line Is It Anyway? featuring Stephen Frost, Steve Steen, Andy Smart, and Ian Coppinger, along with special guests, play the Róisín Dubh at 4pm on Saturday October 26, Sunday 27, and Monday 28.
Unlike conventional stand-up, in which a comedian has a prepared set of themes, gags, and routines, Whose Line Is It Anyway? is about improvisation. The comedians depend on audience suggestions and their own ability to come up with something off the top of their head and make sure it is funny.
Joining Stephen Frost, et al, on Saturday is Joe Rooney (Fr Ted, Kilnascully ) and Cork comedian Tara Flynn. Sean Lock, best known as a team captain on 8 Out Of 10 Cats joins on the Sunday; while Phill Jupitus is there on Monday.
Tickets are available from www.bulmersgalwaycomedyfestival.com and the festival box office in the Róisín Dubh (open 12 noon to 7pm ).
